BIO
I am a director and screenwriter. I studied acting in Stuttgart and Barcelona and have worked as an actress in German theater, film and television since 2012.
2022 I received my Masters degree in film directing at Hamburg Media School.
My films Flick-A-Cig (Kippenschnippen) and Of Kisses and Capes (Was wir wollen) screened at numerous international festivals such as Max Ophüls Preis and the Oscar qualifying festivals Holly Short Fest, Odense Film Festival and St Louis International Film Festival and were shortlisted for the Student BAFTA in 2022. I won several awards such as best young director at short to the point, best production at Sehsüchte Festival and best student film at ZLIN Film Festival.
Currently I am receiving the stART.up scholarship from Claussen-Simon-Foundation. Also I am developing my feature film debut Thicker than water together with the film production company Junafilm and the series Decibel, which I am co-writing with author Nicolas Britos and developing with Tamtam Film.

To me, making films has always been a form of making the unsaid experiancable in a sensitive and intimate way. I am interested in making underrepresented perspectives tangible and in the interlocking of tragic with the absurdity of daily human life. Feminism and inclusion are important topics in my political activism as well as in my films.
