FLICK-A-CIG
-Kippenschnippen-
CARINA is 16 and grows up with a violent father. She fights back with strength against everything that tries to belittle her. When she is caught stealing and has to do community service, she meets the homeless Nikolas and a tender bond begins to form between them. For the first time, Carina feels understood in her anger and loneliness.
"FLICK-A-CIG is a strong coming-of-age film, that leaves us curious for more projects of director Eléna Weiss (... ) Eléna Weiss tells the story of a young woman who wants to break out. She chooses a realistic and engaging directing style, allowing the audience to immerse themselves in the story." review by Doreen Mathei, Testkammer
